My Teaching Philosophy

My ultimate goal is to build academic skills and confidence within all my students, and also to make them enjoy learning as much as I do. I believe that children learn by example so if I am engaging and having fun with my lessons, then they will too.

Early Childhood Education (Ages: 2- 5 years old)

Play is fundamentally important for learning. I love to encourage early learning through purposeful play to encourage problem solving, collaboration, and creativity. Allow our team to prepare your child for TK / kindergarten.

K-12th Grade & Beyond

All Subjects Support

When students believe they can succeed and feel positive about their achievements and potential, their confidence increases and motivation improves. I like to focus on clear directions, useful guidance, and consistent sessions to review progress with students.

Single Subject Support (K-8)

My private tutoring program can align with your student’s curriculum or use the syllabus covered in the student’s classroom. I can also prepare your child for state standardized testing and help reinforce concepts.

Spanish

I am a native Spanish speaker and I love teaching the language. I use fun, differentiated, and interactive Spanish lessons when teaching the grammar, vocabulary and the oral language. I have taught all Spanish levels 1-3 throughout my career and I enjoy it very much.

ABA/Special Education

I have 8 + years in ABA/ Special education experience. I focus on increasing a child’s skills for independent living, while decreasing challenging behaviors.
